In this review, we'll dive deep into the quality, details, and display value of the Taito Made in Abyss Nanachi figure, helping you decide if it deserves a spot on your shelf.

Prize figures often walk a fine line between affordability and quality. Taito, known for its impressive prize line, has a reputation for exceeding expectations. We've spent time examining this Nanachi figure from every angle, and we're ready to share our honest assessment.

First Impressions: Packaging and Presentation

The Taito Nanachi figure arrives in a compact window box that shows off the figure without needing to open it. The box art features Nanachi in her signature pose, with a clear view of the figure's face and outfit. The design is clean and colorful, appealing to both new collectors and seasoned fans.

Inside, the figure is securely held in a plastic blister tray, with clear instructions on how to assemble the base and attach the figure. The assembly is straightforward—no tools required—and the pieces fit snugly. The base is a simple circular disc with a subtle texture, providing stability without distracting from the figure itself.

• Window box design allows for easy display without unboxing
• Simple assembly with no tools needed
• Stable base with a non-slip texture

Sculpt and Pose: Capturing Nanachi's Charm

One of the most critical aspects of any figure is the sculpt, and Taito has nailed Nanachi's likeness. The figure captures her fluffy appearance with layered sculpting that mimics fur texture, especially on her ears and tail. Her expression is soft and slightly melancholic, perfectly matching her character's personality.

The pose is dynamic yet balanced—Nanachi is depicted mid-step, with one paw raised as if she's about to greet you. This adds life to the figure and makes it engaging from any angle. The proportions are accurate to the anime, with a chibi-like body that remains true to the source material.

• Detailed fur texture on ears and tail
• Accurate facial expression reflecting Nanachi's gentle nature
• Dynamic pose that adds visual interest

Paint Application and Color Accuracy

Paint quality is often where prize figures fall short, but Taito has delivered a surprisingly clean paint job. The orange and cream color scheme is vibrant and matches Nanachi's anime appearance closely. There is minimal paint bleed, even on intricate areas like the eyes and the tips of her ears.

The shading on her fur is subtle but effective, adding depth without overdoing it. The base has a matte finish that prevents fingerprints, and the figure itself has a slight sheen that mimics the softness of her fur. We inspected the figure under bright light and found no significant flaws or misprints.

• Clean paint application with no noticeable bleed
• Accurate color matching to the anime
• Subtle shading enhances depth

Size and Display Value

Standing at approximately 10 cm tall, Nanachi is a compact figure that fits perfectly on a desk or shelf. Her size makes her an excellent addition to any collection without taking up too much space.
